Veenod Chulani (he/him) is Clinical Consultant for the Arizona Alliance for
Adolescent Health. Dr. Chulani, MD, MSED, FAAP, FSAHM, CEDS is also Associate
Professor of Pediatrics in the Department of Child Health, University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix and Medical Director of the American Academy of Pediatrics – Arizona Chapter’s (AZAAP) Emotional and Behavioral Health Agenda. Dr. Chulani completed clinical and research fellowships in Adolescent Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He obtained his Masters in Medical Education from the University of Southern California - Keck School of Medicine and maintains a strong interest in health professions training and education. His clinical and research interests include adolescent sexual and reproductive health, the care of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth (LGBTQ), health disparities, and improving systems of healthcare delivery for adolescents. His contribution to adolescent health has been recognized through numerous awards and he has lectured nationally and internationally on a host of topics related to adolescent health.
